Overview

Sky Spy (“we”, “us”) operates the flight price-comparison website at skyspy.deals. We help you find and compare one-way fares, then hand you off to a partner to book — we don’t sell tickets and we don’t require you to create an account. This policy explains what data is involved and your choices.

Information we collect

We keep this minimal. You can search without signing up, and we don’t ask for your name, address, or payment details.

• Search inputs — the origin, destination and dates you enter are sent to our server to fetch live fares. They aren’t tied to your identity.
• Email preferences — when you save an email for bookmark summaries, we store the address and your newsletter choice so we can provide the requested feature and respect future unsubscribe requests.
• Standard technical data — like most websites, our hosting may log IP address, browser type and pages visited for security and performance.
• Cookies — set by us and by third parties for analytics and advertising (see below).

Cookies & advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to Sky Spy and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.

Affiliate links

Sky Spy is free to use and funded partly by affiliate commissions. When you click a “Book” or partner link (for example Kiwi.com, Booking.com or other Travelpayouts partners) and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These partners may set their own cookies to attribute the referral. We don’t receive your payment or booking details.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — such as which pages are popular, which predefined airports, countries or regions are selected, whether searches return results, and which booking links or deals are clicked. This helps us improve search coverage and the site experience. We don’t send names, email addresses, raw search-box text, or payment details to analytics, and the data isn’t used to identify individuals.

Email and newsletter preferences

If you provide an email address, we may use it to send a flight summary you request and, when the newsletter option is selected, Sky Spy deal and newsletter emails. We store the address, the source and date of the subscription choice, and whether the address later unsubscribed. Our email delivery provider processes messages on our behalf.

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing stops newsletter and deal-list emails but does not prevent a flight summary you explicitly request through the bookmark feature. You can also contact us at hello@skyspy.deals.

Third-party sites

Sky Spy links out to airlines, Google Flights, and booking partners. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies — we don’t control how they handle your data.

Your choices

• Opt out of personalised ads via google.com/settings/ads and aboutads.info.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (some features may be affected).
• Unsubscribe from newsletter emails using the link included in each message.
• Use the site without an account — we don’t build a personal profile of you.

Children

Sky Spy isn’t directed at children under 16 and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
